What eyebrow threading is
Threading removes unwanted hair with a fine polyester thread, twisted between the fingers. As the twist rolls over the skin, it catches each hair and lifts it out from the root. It is fast, very precise and nothing hot or sticky touches your face.
Our service is called threading and tweezer because it has two parts. The thread does the main work and shapes the line. Then a stainless steel tweezer picks up the few short or stray hairs the thread left behind, so the edges come out clean and sharp.
Threading is the treatment BeCammo was built on. Brazilian brow artist Brenda Cammo trained the team in one written protocol, so you get the same standard whichever salon or brow specialist you book.
Who threading is for
Threading works for almost everyone who wants to remove unwanted hair and define the shape of their brows. It suits thick, thin, uneven or patchy brows, and both first-time clients and regulars who come back every few weeks.
Because no wax or chemicals are used, many people with sensitive skin prefer it. If the skin around your brows is very sensitive, irritated or broken on the day, tell us before we start and we will look at it first.
Honest about what your brows allow. If you have gaps or very fine hair, we tell you before we start what is possible and what is not. Threading shapes the hair you have. It cannot create hair where there is none.
How it is done at BeCammo, step by step
- WelcomeWe confirm your name and booking, and you settle comfortably on the treatment bed.
- Consultation and brow analysisBefore asking anything, your specialist looks at your brows: gaps, thickness, the natural direction of the hair and any difference between the two sides. Then we ask how you like your brows and if you have a reference photo.
- Mapping your shapeUsing a white thread as a guide, we find the start, the arch and the tail of each brow, and draw the full shape on the skin with a brow pencil.
- Your approvalYou get the mirror. We show you what stays and what goes, and we only start when you say yes. If you want a change, we redraw it.
- ThreadingThe thread removes the hair outside the drawn line, area by area: under the brow, between the brows and above if you asked for it. We check both sides as we go, not only at the end.
- Tweezer finishThe tweezer picks up the last single hairs on the edges so the start, arch and tail are crisp and even.
- Cleanse, trim and setA gentle foam cleanse with a short massage, a trim of long hairs only if you allow it, brow gel and a final look in the mirror.
The appointment is booked as a 30-minute slot. The treatment itself usually takes 12 to 15 minutes with an experienced specialist. The rest is time for the consultation and for getting the shape right.

The white line rule
The line we draw and you approve is the limit. Everything outside it is removed. Everything inside it stays. We never take hair from inside the line to fix a mistake, because once a brow hair is out it needs a full growth cycle to come back. If the drawing needs adjusting, we redraw it before the thread goes anywhere near it.
Two more rules our team follows in every appointment:
- We always ask before trimming. Some clients are growing their brows thicker and do not want any cut. Your brows, your call.
- We take a before photo on first visits, so we can compare the result with where we started.

Hygiene in every appointment
- Fresh disposable paper on the bed and on the work surface for every client.
- Tweezers disinfected with 70% alcohol before each appointment.
- A new piece of thread for every client.
- Specialists work with a mask, hair tied back and clean hands.
These are part of our written protocol, not extras.
A team of brow specialists
Every appointment at BeCammo is with a trained brow specialist. There are no trainee slots and no price tiers: one price, one standard.
The whole team follows the same written protocol, created by founder Brenda Cammo: analysis, mapping, your approval in the mirror, threading and tweezer finish. That is why the result is consistent whichever salon or specialist you book.
After your threading
A little redness is normal and usually settles within minutes to a few hours. For the rest of the day, try to avoid touching the area and give your skin a break from heavy make-up, strong skincare and direct sun on the brows. If you notice irritation that does not settle, message us.
When to come back? Most clients rebook every three to five weeks, depending on how fast their hair grows. Booking your next visit before the shape grows out keeps the line clean.

Threading, waxing or tweezing?
Three ways to shape brows, and why threading is our main method:
| Method | How it works | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Threading | A twisted thread lifts rows of hair from the root | Very precise line, nothing hot or sticky on the skin |
| Waxing | Warm wax pulls hair out in one strip | Fast, but takes the top layer of skin and is less precise on the shape |
| Tweezing only | One hair at a time | Precise but slow, which is why we use it only to finish |

Eyebrow Threading: questions clients ask
How much does eyebrow threading cost in Malta?
At BeCammo, eyebrow threading costs €16. Adding the upper lip makes it €21, and threading with henna or tint is €23.
Does eyebrow threading hurt?
Most clients feel a quick, light pinch that fades straight away. Because the thread does not pull the skin like wax, many people find it more comfortable.
How long does eyebrow threading take?
We book a 30-minute slot. The threading itself usually takes 12 to 15 minutes; the rest is consultation and mapping your shape.
How long does eyebrow threading last?
Usually three to five weeks, depending on your hair growth. Many clients rebook every four weeks.
Can I get threading if I have gaps in my brows?
Yes. We shape the hair you have and tell you before we start what can and cannot be achieved. For fuller brows, ask us about henna or semi-permanent options.
Can I add the upper lip?
Yes. It takes two or three minutes and fits in the same appointment. Eyebrows and upper lip together cost €21.
